Blender System for Urethane process
- Requirements
The client required a complete system for blending multiple compounds to aid in the formation of urethane parts.
The system needed to deploy the correct formula based on weight and percentage of compounds as well as mix them.
- Solution
The Blender System is a fully automated blending solution for resin formulation needed on diverse urethane processes.
Each stream at the resin’s formation is considered a “module” and is completely scalable. This way, flexible solutions are achieved per the customer’s requirements.
- Results
Multiple recipes for formulation were possible.
Through HMI, batch size is selected. The system, based upon the formula, automatically calculates and weighs each component, before blending them to obtain the resin.
