Resistance Welding System
- Requirements
The client required a station for welding multiple points in a product wireframe.
The station required to be small in footprint while accommodating a dual operator layout for producing two products simultaneously.
- Solution
LG AUTOMATION designed a welding cabin with two entrances and safety curtains on both sides.
This station also used a moving tooling elevator in order to ensure a small footprint, so that the operator can load the product in a cleared space, and then the station would position the tooling near the welding system.

The station integrated the following technologies:
- British Federal resistance welding.
- Allen Bradley PLC & HMI.
- Keyence safety light curtains.
