Projection Nut Welding

The client required a station for welding two metallic parts together.
It required a bin for storing produced parts.
- Solution
LG AUTOMATION designed welding cabin with two nests, where the operator intervenes to flip the product so the station can weld a nut on each of two points in the product.
This station used a bin to store welded parts, as well as a feeder to place the stud to be welded.

- WTC welding controllers.
- MILCO welding cylinders.
- SEKI stud feeders.
- Allen Bradley PLC & HMI.
- Keyence light safety curtains.
