Cushion Assembly & Testing
- Requirements
The client required a complete assembly line and testing line for a seatpan assembly.
The testing station required multiple data acquisition components, such as load cells and LVDTs for linear displacement. The testing also required the use of a weight system to pre-load the seat during testing.
The stations needed to handle multiple models, as well as follow strict guidelines and standards.

LG AUTOMATION designed and manufactured stations to perform the following functions:
- Bracket assembly.
- Clip insertion.
- Seat testing.
The production line leveraged a wide variety of components, such as torque controllers and servomotors.
