Anchor Sewing

This station is part of a production line, it requires sewing a seatbelt so the end houses an anchor.
The station requires strict adherence to company standards on overall station footprint and part fabrication.
- Solution
LG AUTOMATION designed a tooling to accomodate new product models, as well as introduced several improvements on CAPEX structure to support the new requirements.
The station leveraged a design library to use the highest possible amount of standardized parts.
Both CAPEX and tooling were fully manufactured in-house.

- Brother programmable sewing machine.
- Allen Bradley PLC & HMI.
- SMC penumatic components.
