Seatbelt assembly

The client required a complete production line for forming and assembling a car seatbelt.
The production line required sewing several components together, as well as cutting the seatbelt to length and assembling a retractor.

LG AUTOMATION designed improvements on and manufactured stations to perform the following functions:
- Anchor sewing.
- Laser web cutting.
- Hydraulic press channel.
The production line leveraged a wide variety of components, such as sewing machines and Persotechnik press.

- Brother programmable sewing machines.
- TOX Persotechnik Press.
- Allen Bradley PLC & HMI.
- SMC pneumatic components.
- Keyence Laser cutter.
